There is also a complete reproduction of the legendary life of St Francis in the frescoes by Giotto in the Upper Basilica, Assisi, with excerpts from the early sources, especially St Bonaventure's Major Legend: click here

ABOUT US - HERITAGE: This is a gradually expanding section giving the history of the Franciscans in Britain.
