There was indeed much cause for celebration this year with two notable dates arrived at in February and March.

Firstly, on Sunday 5 February, Father Ninian was joined by friends and parishioners in the church hall  of Blessed John Duns Scotus parish after mass as he celebrated his 90th birthday with a cake and tea. 

Next was Brother Donal, who celebrated the 40th anniversary of his ordination as a Franciscan priest on 18th March. Once more there was a cake an some treats for a small celebration to mark such a significant year.

Congratulations aplenty are offered for both.
